Important:

DO NOT USE UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE QUICK GUIDE AND THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY

Spectral Engines warrants that this product will have 12 months warranty period from taking the product into use.

Warranty does not cover any damage to the product that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification. This warranty shall not apply if:

  • The product was not used in accordance with any accompanying instructions.
  • The product was not used for its intended function.
  • This warranty also does not apply to the product on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, that has not been handled, used or packaged correctly.
  • Consumable parts as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials and workmanship.
  • Damage caused by use with a third party component or product that does not meet the product’s specifications under the technical specifications.

Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements

To obtain warranty service, you may return a defective product to your the authorised dealer or distributor from whom you purchased the product. Please confirm the terms of its return policies prior to returning the product. The returned product will become the property of Spectral Engines.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Important:

Sensors, software, documentation, and other products offered by Spectral Engines GmbH, hereinafter referred to as the “Products”, are not designed to be fault-tolerant and therefore they are not intended to be used for the purposes of life-critical or hazardous environments that require fail-safe performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectral Engines GmbH disclaims any and all warranties, whether expressed or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of title, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose, regarding the Products. Without limiting the foregoing, Spectral Engines GmbH expressly does not warrant that:

  • the Products will meet your requirements or expectations;
  • the Products will be free of bugs, errors, viruses, or other defects;
  • any results, output, or data provided through or generated by the Products will be accurate, up-to-date, complete, or reliable;
  • the Products will be compatible with any third party software or products; or
  • any errors in the Products will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Spectral Engines GmbH nor its suppliers will be liable for any damage or losses relating to the use of the Products, including without limitation direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive or incidental damages, or losses of revenue, profit, or data. In any case the maximum liability of Spectral Engines GmbH will be equal to the purchase price of the Products.

If you have duly acquired a license to software, you shall have a limited, non-exclusive right to install the software and operate the software but solely in connection with the Products according to relevant specifications and user guides. Save for your limited license, title and all intellectual property rights to the Products belong exclusively to Spectral Engines GmbH and its suppliers. Your limited license to the software will be governed by the substantive laws of Finland.

RoHS statement

We hereby confirm that we always observe the prescriptions of RoHS 2011/65/EU and 2015/863 regulation and our products are fully compliant with the relevant regulations.

RoHS compliance means that all the substances contained in our products:

  • Has/have been pre-registered and/or has/have been registered by our company and/or our suppliers, and/or
  • Is/are excluded from regulation, and/or
  • Exempted from regulation

Observance of the prescriptions are also demanded by us from our suppliers, and it is continuously checked.

The pertinence of the above-mentioned information is continuously checked by us, if any change happens or new information comes up, our customers will be informed immediately.

      Resetting the Device

      This section describes how to reset a NIRONE device.

      Proceed as follows:

      1. Open the Bluetooth settings of your phone and unpair the device.
      2. Switch off the phone Bluetooth.
      3. Completely stop the mobile application.
      4. Close/swipe the application from the application drawer.

      5. With the device switched on, hold the power button on for 10 seconds, until both LEDs flash red. Keep holding, until the LEDs flash red for the second time.
      6. Hold the device pairing button until the Bluetooth LED turns green.
      7. Start the mobile application and reconnect to the device.

      Discarding the Product

      Always return your used electronic products, batteries, and packaging materials to dedicated collection points. This way you help prevent uncontrolled waste disposal and promote the recycling of materials. Electrical and electronic products contain a lot of valuable materials, including metals (such as copper, aluminum, steel, and magnesium) and precious metals (such as gold, silver, and palladium). All materials of the device can be recovered as materials and energy.

      The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on your product, battery, literature, or packaging reminds you that all electrical and electronic products and batteries must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life. Do not dispose of these products as unsorted municipal waste: take them for recycling. For info on your nearest recycling point, check with your local waste authority
